Lent is a time of melancholy and reflection – a time when, since the dawn of western music, composers have written out their souls in expressive and haunting sacred choral music. Under its acclaimed director Adrian Partington, the Royal Welsh College’s Chamber Choir presents a superbly-curated sequence of Lenten music that spans nations and centuries: music for both heart and soul, including pieces by Tallis, Purcell and Ireland.

Venue: St Peter's Church, Roath

Tickets: £15, £13 concessions
