Celebrating Britten: Adrian Thompson and Michael Pollock

Friday 22 November 1.15pm

Pre-performance talk 12.30pm by RWCMD student

“What past can be yours, o journeying boy…?” No composer set the English language to music quite as magically as Benjamin Britten. On what would have been his 106th birthday, two of his finest living interpreters perform two haunting song-cycles: music to change the way you hear the world. Lunch hours are precious; why not discover a masterpiece in this one?

Tickets: £8 on the day, £6 in advance

Venue: Dora Stoutzker Hall
