Biography 

Claire trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where she was awarded the Gold Medal for her graduating year. Since graduating, Claire has worked extensively as an actress across film, television, theatre and radio. 

Television credits include: The Crown, Marriage, Good Omens, The Tudors, Apocalypse Slough, Father Brown, Eastenders, Holby City

Film credits include: The Last Letters from your Lover, Mary, Queen of Scots, Thor 2: The Dark World, The Pursuit

 

Expertise

Claire is a senior lecturer in Acting at RWCMD where she teaches and directs a broad range of projects from the very fundamentals of acting to full shows using complex, heightened text. 

As a teacher and director, Claire has worked for many years at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and was also one of the very early contributors at Fonact in Fontainebleau, France. 

Claire works as an individual acting coach outside of institutions. 

Notable Achievements  

Claire works in all areas of the performance industry. Theatre includes working at Manchester Royal Exchange in several productions including Roots (best actress nomination), Orpheus Descending, Into the Woods, Three Birds and the Adoption Papers, The Royal Shakespeare Company, Bush Theatre, Nottingham Playhouse, Lyceum Theatre, Edinburgh, and new writing workshops with the National Theatre. 

Claire is also a singer and has worked extensively with the composer Dominic Muldowney, as well as composer Errollyn Wallen.
