Performances and Workshops for Schools and Community
Our outreach programme takes a vibrant range of performances and
workshops into schools, community centres and care homes.
Activities ranging from schools opera performances, percussion,
composition and storytelling workshops reach approximately 15,000
school-age children across Wales biennially.
Music workshops showcase a range of styles from
classical to jazz and music theatre and often involve performances
given by our talented music students who are developing
professional outreach skills as part of their degree studies.
Drama workshops are delivered by leading
theatre practitioners who use a range of techniques – including
games and improvisation – to build participants’ confidence,
communication and interpersonal skills.
“The children had a fantastic day and learned so
many new skills. They are still talking about it now!”
