Following the latest government advice about Coronavirus, Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama is cancelling all public performances from today, 17 March, until further notice.
We will update this position as and when we get further guidance from UK Government.
The safety and well-being of our students, staff and audiences is of the highest importance. We apologise for the disruption and thank you for your support during this period of great uncertainty.
We are in the process of contacting ticket holders to arrange refunds for all cancelled performances, but please keep in mind that we are now operating a limited Box Office service via telephone, so this may take a little longer than usual.

On performance evenings, the Box Office will remain open up to 30 minutes after the start of the last performance. If there is a performance on Saturday or Sunday, the Box Office will open 2 hours prior to the start of that performance. The Box Office is situated in the main foyer.
Booking by Telephone or in Person
Tickets can be purchased in person or by calling 029 2039 1391 during Box Office opening hours. Messages left on the answering machine outside of opening hours and at busy periods will be dealt with as soon as possible. Payments made by credit or debit card must be over the value of £5, we accept MasterCard, Visa, Maestro and Solo.
Any orders posted will incur a postage fee of £1. Alternatively, tickets can be collected for free from the Box Office during opening hours or printed at home.
Exchanges and Refunds
Tickets are non-refundable. However, tickets can be exchanged for alternative performances, subject to availability, and provided tickets are returned to us 24 hours before the event. We will also try to re-sell any unwanted tickets for sold-out performances, if tickets are returned to us 24 hours before the event and provided there is a waiting list to which tickets can be sold.
Concessions apply to over 60s, students, ex-RWCMD students, under 16s and customers with a disability (you may be asked to provide ID upon purchase and/or collection). This may vary depending on performance. For the comfort of all patrons, we strongly advise that RWCMD performances are not suitable for children under 2 years (unless otherwise stated).
Liberty Living Discounted Events
Thanks to generous sponsorship from Liberty Living, any student residing in their student accommodation in Cardiff is entitled to a £3 ticket to selected performances.
During some performances, latecomers will not be admitted. You may be asked to wait for a suitable break in the performance before taking your seats. This will be at the Duty Manager’s discretion.
Everyone enjoys a great night out, which makes our Gift Vouchers the perfect present for family and friends. Available in any denomination, ask the Box Office for further information.
