In the heart of America's rust belt, lifelong friends Tracey and Cynthia battle - along with their co-workers - with the fallout from industrial decline. As the threat of unemployment takes hold, resentments rise and racial tensions run high and this once tight community is left battling with itself. Lynn Nottage's brilliant, multi award winning play is a piercing and heartbreaking look at the devastating impact of big businesses on small communities and the modern-day decline of the American dream.
