Royal Welsh College Chorus, Brass & Percussion
Join us for an exploration of different faiths and religions. Gloria is a jubilant celebration of life, composed by John Rutter for choir, organ, brass and percussion in 1974, just eleven years after Bernstein composed Chichester Psalms – a similarly exuberant musical depiction of brotherhood and peace. These two seminal works will be accompanied by a selection of choral expressions of Christianity, Islam, Judaism and Haitian Vodou and music for brass ensemble including Salzedo’s-Divertimento.
