Pioneering Dutch band Tin Men and the Telephone present Global Relocation of Evolved Apes Towards Exoplanet Suitable for Terraformation: a new immersive multimedia performance that combines improvised music, visuals, and audience participation via a smartphone app to address the very timely topic of climate change in a uniquely interactive, fun and thought-provoking way.
We have kept the ticket price low at only £5. Should you wish to further support the College and our students, you will have the opportunity to make a donation to our Student Hardship Fund at checkout.
Ticket holders will need Zoom to access the performance. This can be downloaded for free from the Zoom website to a desktop or as an app to your phone or tablet via the app store on your device.
You will also need the Tinmendo interactive concert app on a smartphone if you wish to interact with the performance. This is not compulsory but recommended to get the most from the performance. You can find further information and how download the free app here
The ID and password to access the Zoom performance will be sent by email to ticket holders an hour before the start of the performance at 6pm on Saturday 6 June and the performance will start at 7pm sharp. Please do not share these details with non-ticket holders as there is a maximum limit on the number of viewers within the Zoom event.
Please note that the band will be the Zoom host and will be directly controlling the content of the performance and handling any technical difficulties should they occur. However, the RWCMD team will be on hand during the performance via email to offer help where we can.
This event is part of the AmserJazzTime 2020 Online Festival which runs from 4-6 June – find out here about the other events on offer.
