The WNO Orchestra returns to the Royal Welsh College this new year for their annual trip to Vienna!

At the heart of this year’s programme is one of Mozart’s best-loved works, the Horn Concerto No. 4. Surrounding this, the Dora Stoutzker Hall will resonate to the sounds of the most famous waltzes and polkas from Vienna’s glittering ballrooms.

The fabulous overture to Der Freischutz by Weber, get us off to a cracking start and favourite waltzes such as Wine, Women and Song, The Blue Danube and Gold and Silver alongside the Tritsch-Tratsch, Thunder and Lightning and Champagne polkas and the great Radetsky March, will adorn the rip-roaring second half.

Performed with no conductor, the musicians and audience are brought together for the evening by David Adams, WNO’s dynamic Orchestra Leader and Concertmaster.

All guaranteed to put a spring back into your post-Christmas step.

Venue: Dora Stoutzker Hall

Tickets: £16.50, £14.50 concessions
