BA (Hons) Theatre Design
How to Apply
Applications to the BA (Hons) Theatre Design course must be made
through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service, UCAS. The
application fee for this service is £11 for one choice or £22 for
more than one choice.
If you are at a school or college in the UK, you will need to
obtain a 'buzzword' from your teacher or careers advisor in order
to register with UCAS. If you are an independent applicant, not at
school or college, or if you live outside the UK, you should use
the UCAS online application system.

The UCAS Institution Code for the Royal Welsh
College of Music & Drama is R86 and the Course
Code for BA (Hons) Theatre Design is W460.
Personal Statements
We recommend that you pay particular attention to the
information you provide in your personal statement on your
application form in order to give us as full a picture as possible
of your relevant experience and reasons for applying.
Application Dates
For entry in September 2012, you can submit applications through
UCAS from 1 September 2011. The deadline for applications is
15 January 2012. Interviews usually begin in
January.
Interview Fees
Please note that we charge an administration fee of £26 to cover
the cost involved in arranging interviews for the BA (Hons) Theatre
Design course.
