Course Overview
Four Years, Full Time
Building on the success of the RWCMD Jazz Department, a
dedicated BMus (Hons) Jazz degree has been devised which features a
diversity of performance opportunities combined with professional
training relating to the current industry. The four year programme
has an integrated approach in which you will develop a mature
understanding of jazz language, processes and repertoire whilst
also gaining skills in composing, arranging, band leadership,
self-promotion and events management. This will provide you with
everything you need to launch and sustain a successful career in
the jazz world.
