BA (Hons) Acting Course
Entry Requirements
There are only twenty places available on this course each year
and final selection is made on the basis of an audition
process. All applicants who meet the minimum entry
requirements will be invited to attend a first audition. See
the Audition Guidance page for further
information about auditions.
The college is able to consider applications from people
without formal qualifications if they are able to demonstrate an
exceptional level of ability and potential.
Applicants are normally expected to have, or be studying towards, A
Levels or equivalent qualifications such as Scottish Highers, BTEC
National Diploma/Certificate, WBQ, International Baccalaureate,
Advanced GNVQ, AVCE or Advanced Diploma (Level 3). Recognised
international qualifications are also accepted.
Candidates for whom English is not a first language are required
to demonstrate a level of fluency appropriate to professional
acting training.
