Students' Union

Our hugely successful Students' Union plays a crucial role in the life of the College. The SU is housed in offices within the student common room and, together with the Head of Student Services, provides a central point of information and advice for students.

The SU also manages the College's bar, which is the main venue for a lively entertainments programme including a weekly quiz, regular live music nights and special events like the ever-popular Bavarian Night! During Fresher's Week there are daily events, which give new students plenty of opportunities to settle in and get to know one another.

Each academic year culminates in the RWCMD Summer Ball, which is one of the highlights of the social calendar.

There is an active LGBT society and Christian Union at RWCMD as well as a growing list of sports and leisure clubs including football, cricket, yoga and aerobics. Strong links with the SU at Cardiff University mean that students with specific interests can also benefit from the complete range of sporting, cultural, religious, political and international societies on offer just across the road.
