Living in Cardiff
Eating and Drinking
Restaurants are plentiful in and around Cardiff, with options to
suit almost every taste and budget.
Swing by the International Food & Drink festival held in
Cardiff Bay as part of the Cardiff Festival to hunt down delicious
Welsh cheese, tangy German sausage and fruity Spanish wine.
If you prefer to cook your own make sure you check out the
weekly Riverside Market on Sunday mornings across the river from
the Millennium Stadium. Fresh local produce is available every week
and provides an excellent way to kick start your Sunday.
Cardiff's nightlife provides something for everyone and whether
it's a quiet drink with friends or a large celebration, between
Cardiff's lively centre (split between Greyfriars Road, St Mary
Street and Mill Lane) and the more tranquil setting of Cardiff Bay,
you will find the perfect hangout.
