Simon Kilshaw ADWCMD CertEd (Wales) MA

Simon explores the exciting potential of technology to teach,
compose and perform music. His practice primarily relates to
interactive gestural performance of electroacoustic music, the
sonification of physical modelled structures, acousmatic
/electroacoustic composition and spatial diffusion.
Recently Simon is developing interactive learning tools and
environments specifically for musicians - an opportunity to
“digitise” the individual learning experience of online creative
conservatoire students, enabling real-time interactive digital
classrooms and creative learning environments.
In 2007, Simon founded “Sonic Arts in Wales”, an organisation to
foster and promote sonic arts and electroacoustic music in Wales,
proudly boasting Bernard Parmegiani as its honorary patron.
