Terms & Conditions
1. Latecomers
RWCMD regrets to inform you that during some performances
latecomers will not be admitted. In some productions you may be
asked to wait for a suitable break in the performance before taking
your seats. This will be at the Duty Manager’s discretion.
2. Facilities and access for disabled
people
All of our performance spaces are accessible by wheelchair.
Wheelchair users will be charged the concessionary price and 1
complimentary ticket will be given (if required) to a
companion.
Guide dogs are welcome and RWCMD can provide large print
information on request.
Hearing Induction Loops are installed in the Box Office, the
Bute Theatre, the Caird Studio and the Sir Geraint Evans Recital
Room. Other venues can be fitted with portable induction loops if
requested in advance. The induction loops can be used by turning
your hearing aid to the T position.
Please note: It is essential that you inform Box Office at time
of booking if you or any of your party have any special needs.
3. Unreserved and reserved seating
The majority of College performances have unreserved seating.
Should this differ for any performance you will be informed at the
time of purchase.
4. No smoking
Smoking is prohibited throughout all College buildings.
5. Mobile phones and recordings
Please turn off mobile phones, digital watch alarms and other noise
making-devices when attending performances. The use of photographic
and/or video equipment is not permitted during College
performances.
6. Toilets
Toilets are situated in the main foyer of the Raymond Edwards
Building, the 1st level of the Raymond Edwards Building and the
ground floor of the Anthony Hopkins Centre. Please ask the College
ushers, who will be situated outside the performance spaces, for
directions.
7. Cloakrooms
There are no cloakroom facilities. We request that all patrons keep
their belongings with them at all times, and that items such as
bags and coats be stored under your seat, ensuring there is a clear
path for other guests and patrons. For the comfort and safety of
others, it is not advisable to take items other than bags and coats
into the performance spaces.
8. Glass bottles/refreshments
Glass bottles and refreshments are not permitted in any of the
performance spaces.
9. RWCMD reserves the right to refuse admission or to
change the advertised programme of events and/or casting of any
performance without prior notice.
