The Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama is one of the UK’s
leading drama schools. Each year the college receives well over
1,000 applications for the twenty places available on its
three-year undergraduate degree course.
Our one year Acting Courses for 16-20 year olds
provide a taste of drama school and will help you to stand out from
the crowd at auditions. Our past students have gone on to train at
RWCMD and other top drama schools in the UK. The courses run on
Sundays (10am-3.45pm) during term times from September until July.
As well as Audition Technique, classes cover the key features of
professional actor training:
- Improvisation
- Text
- Movement
- Voice
- Alexander Technique
- Acting through Song
- Acting for Camera
Entry to the acting courses is in September and applicants will
be invited to attend an audition.
Auditions for our 2013-2014 courses will be held on
Saturday 29th June 2013. Please click here for more information.
