The RWCMD’s Jazz Department is justly celebrated – now enjoy an
opportunity to take part in a course with Head of Jazz, Paula
Gardiner at the helm.
A particularly exciting element of the course is the
collaboration with Brecon Jazz Festival. Participants will have a
unique opportunity to work alongside professional artists as they
prepare for the internationally acclaimed Brecon Jazz Festival, as
well as having the chance to perform on the Festival's Christ
College Main Stage.
Throughout the week participants will be grouped into small
ensembles and clinics, working with specialist tutors in areas
covering performance, composition and improvisation.
This course is aimed at advanced players and an advanced
knowledge of the rudiments of Jazz is required.
This course is suitable for participants aged 18+

How to Apply
Participants should register
thier interest for the course with the attached form.
Level of experience, instrument and a demo recording are required
before entry onto the course can be guaranteed. Entry to the course
will be at the discretion of the course leader.
Please note that the closing date for expressing interest for
the course is Thursday 8th July. After this date
participants will be notified with the outcome of their
application.
