Emma Cayeux

Emma Cayeux – Classical Piano

Born and raised in France, Emma started her piano studies at the age of 6. She studied with Nicolas Jalowiz, and then with Xenia Maliarevitch, who introduced her to chamber music.

Having recently graduated from Cardiff University, where she studied English Linguistics, she is now in her third year at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama with pianist James Kirby.

Emma has had significant experience in ensemble performance, performing with orchestra as well as smaller ensemble, notably as a piano duet or accompanying vocalists. She has won the 2015 Brian Davies accompaniment prize, and is working towards a professional career as an accompanist.
