Eve Myles

The part of Gwen in BBC Wales’s Torchwood was written specifically for Eve, who won the 2007 Bafta Cymru Best Actress for her performance. Eve has also appeared in other BBC series including Belonging, Doctor Who, Tales from Pleasure Beach and Little Dorrit. In 2009, she starred in the BBC One feature-length drama Framed with Trevor Eve.

Eve’s stage career includes playing Lavinia in Titus Andronicus with the RSC for which she won a prestigious Sunday Times Ian Charleson Award in 2004. She has also played opposite Michael Gambon in Henry IV Parts I and II at the National Theatre.
