Ruth Jones


Ruth is best known for co-scripting and starring in the multi-award winning hit TV comedy Gavin and Stacey, which won her a Best Female Comedy Newcomer award at the British Comedy Awards in 2007.
Craig Gazey


Craig is now a regular member of the cast of Coronation Street after winning Best Newcomer at the 2009 British Soap Awards. He has also appeared on stage with the RSC in productions including The Tempest, Julius Caesar and Antony and Cleopatra.
Kimberley Nixon


At the end of her final year at RWCMD, Kimberley was snapped up by the BBC to appear in the blockbuster period drama series The Cranford Chronicles alongside A-listers including Judi Dench, Imelda Staunton and Michael Gambon.
Jo Joyner


Since graduating Jo has become a familiar face on British TV having appeared in Fat Friends, North and South, Spooks, Silent Witness, Clocking Off, No Angels, Swingers and currently, Eastenders.
James Sutton


James is best known as John Paul McQueen in Hollyoaks, a role for which he received a Best Actor nomination at the British Soap Awards in 2007. He left the cast of Hollyoaks in 2008 and is currently appearing as Ryan Lamb in ITV’s Emmerdale.
Rakie Ayola


Rakie is best known for her performance as Kyla Tyson in Holby City. Since her first TV role in Soldier Soldier, she has appeared in programmes including Maisie Raine, Being April, Sea of Souls and Eastenders.
Eve Myles


The part of Gwen in BBC Wales’s Torchwood was written specifically for Eve, who won the 2007 Bafta Cymru Best Actress for her performance. Eve has also appeared in other BBC series including Belonging, Doctor Who and Little Dorrit.
Lyndsey Marshal


Lyndsey starred as Cleopatra in HBO’s Rome. She won the Critics’ Circle Theatre Award for Best Newcomer in 2001 and most recently appeared on stage with James McAvoy in the 2009 West End production Three Days of Rain.
Rob Brydon


Rob has become one of Britain’s best loved comic actors since appearing as the tragic-comic Keith Barrett in the self-penned Marion and Geoff and its spin-off, The Keith Barrett Show.
Simon Trinder


Since winning the BBC Carleton Hobbs Bursary Award in his final year at RWCMD, Simon has appeared in over 60 BBC radio plays. His theatre career has included a three year contract with the RSC during which time he performed in twelve productions.
