Student Interviews in Kansas City
Lecturers Sean Crowley and Ian Evans from the Royal Welsh
College of Drama will be at the United States Institute for Theatre
Technology (USITT) 50th annual Conference and Stage Expo at the end
of this month.
Internationally renowned theatre designers Sean and Ian will be
at the RWCMD stand. They will be available to chat about the
College and will also be interviewing students applying for places
on the Stage Management and Theatre Design and Event Production
courses run by the Royal Welsh College.
Sean and Ian will also be speaking at the Conference about
Scenofest 2011, and World Stage Design 2013, which is to be held at
the College.
- USITT is a chance for networking, interacting with
professionals, and learning from and with the best in the industry.
Sessions are geared for every level, from students to seasoned
professionals and provide a place to ask questions or just soak up
new ideas.
- The Conference celebrates all the hard work that goes on behind
the scenes of a performance: the creativity and graft that goes
into set building, lighting, costumes, sound, make-up, stage
managing, and the performance area itself.
- USITT provides opportunities to learn about past practices,
present innovations and future visions.
- USITT has served the design, production and technology
professionals in the performing arts and entertainment industry
since 1960.
