Royal Welsh College Celebrates Graduation and Honours New
Fellows
The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama celebrated the
achievements of its talented graduates and honoured a prestigious
list of Fellows at its Graduation Ceremony at St David’s Hall on 25
June 2010.
This year’s Fellows include:
Eve Myles

College alumnus and Bafta Cymru-winning star of BBC’s Wales’
Torchwood
Peter Florence

Director of the Hay Festivals Group, which recently took over
the Brecon Jazz Festival
Richard Hudson

Award-winning theatre designer
Jeremy Ward

Prominent bassoonist and former Director of Music at RWCMD
Professor David Halton

Recently retired Vice-Chancellor of University of Glamorgan who
fostered and championed the Strategic Alliance between the
University of Glamorgan and the Royal Welsh College of Music &
Drama
Richard Jones

Celebrated opera director
Stephen Sondheim

Multi-award-winning lyricist and composer
