Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama has just signed a new
sponsorship deal with Stage Electrics.
The College’s Stage Management courses are accredited by the
National Council for Drama Training and at the heart of the
sponsorship deal between the College and Stage Electrics. This
partnership will provide financial assistance to stage management
students to enable them to take up professional work
placements.
The links between Stage Electrics and the College have continued
beyond the sponsorship deal, with several students from the Stage
Management department going on to have a career within the
company.
‘We are thrilled to continue this sponsorship
deal,’ said David Roxburgh, Head of Stage Management at the
College, ‘it provides our students with the financial security
to be able to explore and enhance their professional
training’
Davie Bell, Stage Electrics Divisional Sales Manager added, ‘We
are really pleased to be able to renew our commitment to the Royal
Welsh College of Music and Drama. The successful education of
students is important to the future of our industry as these are
the customers and staff of our future.’
The College will host the Stage Electrics annual Welsh Trade
show on 20th October this year.
