Junior Music Courses - advanced specialist training for talented musicians 8-18 years

Every Saturday, the College welcomes school-age musicians from across Wales and the South West of England. The course focuses on individual tuition and is offered on all main string, wind, bass and orchestral percussion instruments plus piano, guitar, composition and voice. There are also specific pathways for students wishing to study creative music technology and jazz.

In addition, there are weekly classes in chamber music, orchestra/ensemble and general musicianship plus choir, performance skills and improvisation options.

Tuition is delivered by a large team of expert tutors. Many are distinguished professional performers, composers and music technologists.

Students attend College on Saturdays, usually between 9.00am and 4.30pm, although starting times will vary according to individual timetables. The course runs over three 10-week terms per year.

Entry is by audition.
