Jigsô is a new eclectic music collective for people of any age
and any standard of playing, led by Andy
Everton, who is a tutor at RWCMD and a member of the BBC
National Orchestra of Wales.
A date for the diary
The
next meeting will be on Saturday 8th June 2013 - more details to
follow.
Our first two meetings proved to be a great success. The
orchestra comprised of participants ranging from complete beginners
to professional musicians, including several who described
themselves as self taught, and accommodated instruments from the
bassoon to the accordion!
Maybe you play an instrument that doesn't feature in a
traditional orchestra? Maybe you are self taught, or you've never
had the opportunity/confidence to play in a group. Whatever your
story, making music with others is officially good for you so
please get in touch.
"What a unique, very enjoyable, and skillfully
handled musical experience."
Mr G. Wilson, Jigsô participant
Jigsô is a creative music project which promises to be both fun
and inspirational - and who knows where it may lead...
If you'd like to come along, please email
