Public meetings
In June 2008, the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama
submitted plans to develop part of its current site to Cardiff
Council. These exciting proposals include a new Concert Hall,
Courtyard Theatre, Drama rehearsal rooms, Design Arcade and
associated public facilities.
Over the summer period, we held a number of public presentations
of our plans. These took place at the college on Friday 2 May 2008,
Wednesday 11 June 2008 and Wednesday 9 July 2008.
National Eisteddfod of Wales 2008, Cardiff
The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama also attended this
year's National Eisteddfod in Cardiff, where we displayed images of
the proposed development and provided literature outlining the
plans. The Eisteddfod took place between August 2nd and
August 9th.
Scale model
A scale model of the proposed development can be viewed during
working hours at the College. Please call into reception and ask to
see the model.
