Nick Whiting
Nick Whiting freelanced with all the London orchestras before
accepting the position of Principal Second Violin with the
Philharmonia Orchestra. In 1998, after ten years with the
Philharmonia, he moved to Wales to take up the position of
Associate Leader in the BBC National Orchestra of Wales. In
addition to playing with BBC NOW, Nick takes an active role in the
orchestra's education and outreach work. He also gives regular duo
recitals with the pianist Rebecca Selley and is leader of the Vale
Quartet.
