Marius Bedeschi

Marius Bedeschi gained a scholarship at 16 to
study with Colin Sauer, the leader of the Dartington String Quartet
at Dartington Hall. Subsequent studies at L'Accademi di Santa
Cecilia in Rome led to six years with the renowned Alfredo Campoli
in London.
Marius has performed throughout the UK, including Purcell Room
recitals, and in Europe. As a teacher he is in great demand, having
given masterclasses at the leading British Conservatoires and
throughout Europe.
Marius is Artistic Advisor for the Ciaccona Music Course held
at the Yehudi Menuhin School, and was on the ESTA Council for a
number of years. His student successes are numerous and include
many prizes at international competitions. His
teaching appointments have included the Purcell
School and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
Marius was made a Fellow of L'Accademi di Santa Cecilia in
2003.
