Mary Condliffe
Mary studied the double bass at
the Royal College of Music with Professor Michael Brittain and
subsequently worked as a freelance musician in London for two
years. Since 1984, she has held a full time position with
the Orchestra of Welsh National Opera.
Mary has almost thirty years
experience as a teacher and many of her students have gone on to
win awards and scholarships at the major conservatoires and gained
positions in British orchestras. Mary is involved with
the European String Teachers Association and has written articles
for the Double Bassist Magazine.
