Robert Whitehead
Robert Whitehead is an experienced technologist, composer,
arranger, producer, live/studio engineer and multi-instrumentalist;
he graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in
2002. Over the last ten years he has worked extensively within the
music industry, as a pro-audio specialist for companies such as
Thomann in Germany and Starland in the UK.
Robert has toured and recorded with a wide variety of acts in
the UK and Europe. He has acted as a stage manager and live
engineer at the Wales Millennium Centre, working within all styles
of music ranging from classical to jazz, rock and pop to
electronic. As a multi-instrumentalist Robert plays piano, guitar
and bass all to a high standard and is a talented vocalist.
More recently Rob Whitehead has been working for 'John Hardy
Music' on several prime-time TV documentaries as co-composer with
acclaimed BAFTA Cymru composer John Hardy. Projects in 2010 have
included nature documentaries such as 'Wild Wales' and 'The Secret
Life of Birds'.
