Stephen Wheel
Stephen's passion is composing, creating music and teaching with
technology. He specialises in electroacoustic music and music for
sound and image, and is a lecturer in these subjects. Stephen's
first album release Snow Angels is an eclectic mix of music,
fusing rock and pop influences with orchestral sounds, and is
influenced by a wide range of musical styles, from John Barry's
film scores and contemporary classical music to the sounds of
Radiohead and Neil Young. This album of original song-based
material was written, recorded and produced by Stephen. He is
recording a follow-up album, and continues to collaborate and
perform live with a variety of musicians. Stephen also teaches in
the Outreach and Junior Music and Access Studies departments at the
Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
