Stage Management

The Study Abroad Programme in Stage Management offers intensive
production
and skills classes alongside the RWCMD stage management cohort. A
range of
classes are on offer, focussing on the following areas:
• Technical Theatre
• Stage Management
• Lighting Design
• Sound Design
Further development is available through specific project work,
designed to
enhance skills in each of these areas.
You may be given the option to work as a team member in one of
over 20
productions and events each year, ranging from intimate
contemporary pieces to large-scale Shakespeare, Broadway musicals,
outdoor events, and exhibitions. Our performances take place in the
college’s own theatre spaces and in major professional
theatres.
Stage Management placements are also available running Venue 13
at the
Edinburgh Fringe Festival during August.

English Language Requirements
Candidates for whom English is not their first language are
required to demonstrate a level of fluency appropriate to
professional training.
