New York City Drama Auditions/Interviews
We will be holding auditions for entry onto our
Acting programmes and interviews for our Stage Management
and Theatre Design programmes on Saturday 30th and Sunday
31st January 2010

The auditions/interviews will be held at the Crown Plaza
Hotel, Times Square Manhattan, 1605 Broadway, New York, NY

Acting Audition details
Auditions will be held from 9.30am to 5pm
Please prepare two contrasting speeches lasting no longer
than two minutes each. One piece should be Elizabethan or Jacobean
and the other modern/contemporary (20th/21st century). You
will be auditioned in small groups by a panel of two experienced
senior lecturers from the drama department. Be prepared to
present your two monologues and re-work all or part of
them if requested to do so. We will be happy to talk to you about
the College and our courses and answer any questions you may
have.
The room will be available at 9am to warm up if you wish.
A $50 administrative fee is charged to all applicants and is
payable by check to the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama
