Course Features

  • Entry in September or January, flexible timetabling and structure allowing study breaks
  • Can be completed within two years
  • Programme leading to the creation of a portfolio of new music using home computer music workstation
  • Weekly one-to-one sessions with personal tutor using video conferencing and file exchange
  • Expert tuition in a wide range of specialist areas including music for film and TV, workstation programming, sound and aesthetics, music in a multimedia environment, desktop publishing and promotion
  • Study modules tailored to individual needs and interests

The course comprises five compulsory core modules and three option modules chosen from a list of seven.

All modules offer the opportunity to pursue individual musical interests.

The course will encourage you to put new and older technologies to creative and expressive use. You will be encouraged to develop or reinforce a personal creative aesthetic, where technology is neither an obstacle nor an end in itself, but rather an innovative means to expand your musical and innovative creativity.
