Head of Programme
Aidan Plender BA MBA
Aidan Plender has worked in arts management for over twenty
years since studying music at university. He has been Concert
Assistant with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Music
Officer for Kirklees Metropolitan Council and, from 1990-96, was
General Manager of St David’s Hall in Cardiff. Since then, Aidan
has worked in a freelance capacity undertaking work for the British
Council in Romania, IMG Artists, and Theatre Projects. He is Music
Consultant to St David’s Hall and an assessor for the Arts Councils
of England and Wales and the National Memorial Heritage Fund. Aidan
is a Trustee of the Kenneth Loveland Gift.
